Basically, I've been reading nothing but books that are around 400+ pages for months now, and I'm really looking for some shorter reads but not short-story. Something under 300 pages, the shorter the better.
I like non-fiction that's about history, true crime, or important events/individuals, but I'm not a self-help type person. With fiction, I generally like most genre fiction (mystery, horror, historical fiction, fantasy, etc). Not a big fan of 'literary' or 'contemporary fiction' type stuff (an example is Sandwich by Catherine Newsome which is really a hit at the library I work at this summer and I don't like books like it at all).
