I know that this is kinda niche so I’ll be brief. I’ve been meaning to get into the Arthurian myth but I don’t know whether I should read the original text by Thomas Malory (I know he lived 200 years after the events of the book, but still) or the retelling by T.H. White. All the reviews that I’ve read on Goodreads seem to agree that the retelling is much more engaging and clear, and that the original by Malory can be challenging to read for someone who’s not familiar with this chapter of history. I cant read them both right now because they’re very long and I have to choose one. What do you guys think?
