I am pushing myself to reach a goal and love reading to relax. The last few books I've read happened to involve the character training for something, and I find it really inspiring! Here's what I've read so far:
The Will of the Many by James Islington (currently reading) – this is an all-around well-written, compelling story so far!
The Court of Silver Flames by Sara J Maas – it took awhile for me to get around the quality of writing and the Hunger Games/Beauty and the Beast parallels in ACOTAR series, but there is something compelling and special about this world and the relationships in it. I loved this book's particular storyline and found it important for people who have faced trauma and are trying to work their way out.
The Fourth Wing series by Rebecca Yarros – The first time I noticed I really like reading about training. Specific scenes still stick with me about working to get better for a larger cause.
What should I add to my list to read next?
