Looking for a book that exposes corporate greed, pharmaceutical industry, govt hidden agendas, etc. been reading up on a lot of political affairs recently keeps me wanting to go down this rabbit hole and learn more
*Confessions of an Economic Hit-man* by John Perkins should get the ball rolling. It looks at underhanded ways in which The World Bank operates, encouraging unnecessary and oversized loans in order to keep a country in its power. Definitely one that opens up discussion, although it’s maybe a touch dated now.
*Fast Food Nation* by Eric Schlosser is still a classic though. Yep, it’s just about the fast-food industry, but it’s utterly fascinating.
Happy reading!

Medical journalist Gary Taubes’ **The Case Against Sugar** includes the impact ‘Big Sugar’ has on research and advertising; not so much on direct political effect.

Rachel Maddow’s _Blowout_ is about the oil and gas industry and the corruption it produces, especially in Russia

Dark Money by Jane Meyer is a must
I thought Mike Magee’s [Code Blue: Inside America’s Medical Industrial Complex](https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/42360837-code-blue)was an interesting read.
