So now I've finished Suzuki's Ring trilogy via the final book, "Loop". And what I had read was a real mind bender!
The killer from the past two books has now transformed yet again in the form of a cancerous disease. And Kaoru Futami, a young man who seems much more mature than his years, is now on the hunt for answers in the deserts of New Mexico and the Loop project, a virtual reality matrix that was created by scientists.
His loved ones are not the only that depend on his success.
And to think this series, especially with the final book, couldn't get any weirder! This one certainly, and I must say this, thrown me for one big loop! Things seemed to go along at a linear pace in the first two books, but that changes just dramatically in the third and final one!
A Reddit user who commented on my last post around "Spiral" said I had yet to enter the trenches. Well I've certainly entered that trench after reading "Loop"! What an absolute mind bender! I do believe there are other books that revolve around the original trilogy and those I must seek out!
