Looking for something like Ready Player One but it is not teen fiction.
I am looking for:
-More explicit violence.
-Explicit language.
-Sexual content, but the book doesn’t revolve around it. I’m not looking for a romance novel.
-A setting that is not high fantasy. I don’t mind some magic but I am not necessarily looking for a world with all the weird and complicated names and regions.
-A unique plot that isn’t a Game Of Thrones power-struggle clone of houses/regions.
I like RPO specifically because it is like an alternate universe, but still on Earth. I like a good dystopian setting, or even post apocalyptic. And the “race to solve the mystery” plot is fun and creative to me. But I am open to something different than that.
