Hi,
I read a lot when I was young, but stopped due to severe OCD about turning pages etc. However, I want to start reading again and I really want to read classics that people consider "must reads" as well as books about historical events etc. Basically I want to gain more "general knowledge". I think this is the word, but English is not my main language, but basically knowledge about everything, such as culture, history, politics, crime etc. This is something that I feel that my parents have, since they read a lot before the internet but I do not. Do you have any suggestions?
