I’m just curious. Personally, I prefer to smoke weed over drink alcohol. And on nights when I hang with friends or do whatever after work and have a smoke, I can go home and read still. I value that. Obviously the people in this sub get it. I read a lot. But today, after work, I went to a happy hour event and had a few drinks. Now I’m home, and reading is just not an option. I can’t focus or think straight. It all seems abstract. I won’t remember any of it.
If I smoke a little, if anything I get more pulled into the story. 90% of the time I’m just reading sober, which is ideal. But I’m curious if other people can read after a couple drinks? Or do you feel like me, where it’s just impossible? I feel like my whole night is ruined. I have find something stupid to do now.
