Recently I have really been enjoying books about people on the wrong side of the law. Things like autobiography of a recovering skinhead or even things like no angel and other undercover stories. Looking for anything that fits this model.

Oddly, Glen Loury has an autobiography that might fit the bill.
Oh, I got your book.
*Papillon* by Henri Charierre. A Frenchman gets sent to a penal colony in South America. It’s an amazing book.
Catch Me If You Can, by Frank Abagnale
Assata: An Autobiography
Ballad Of the Whiskey Robber by Julian Rubinstein
Will by G. Gordon Liddy.
Full disclosure, this book is pretty dated (about 1980) and may be of little interest to modern readers. Liddy was the leader of the group that broke into the Watergate hotel, leading to the scandal that brought down Richard Nixon. At the time I read it I had deeply conservative views, and reading this really turned my head around. Here was Liddy telling all, confirming all the allegations of the liberals about Watergate, and including enough personal anecdoted to give a picture of a deeply patriotic but subtly warped mind.
Mr Nice, the “true” story of Britain’s most prolific drug smuggler.
