Yes it's only August but I hate summer and use the library so if I want fall books I have to start putting books on hold asap.
I'd love your suggestions for any great books with Halloween/Fall vibes. Either horror or cozy fantasy. My taste is pretty eclectic so I'm really open to anything but I do really want it to capture the feeling of October.

Obviously:
The Secret History by Donna Tartt
Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë
The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern (the opening of this one smells like October)
Less hyped:
Slewfoot by Brom
The Last House on Needless Street by Catriona Ward
Hex by Thomas Olde Heuvelt
A little random but impeccable vibes:
Monster (historical fiction, thriller, manga series, set in Germany) by Naoki Urasawa
