I’ve been looking for a good vampire book where the characters have an interesting, and not necessarily healthy, relationship. For example, A Dowry of Blood by S.T. Gibson, the Interview With the Vampire show, and The Cruel Prince (which doesn’t feature vampires, but the two main characters have a really interesting dynamic/slow burn).
I’m most interested in adult books with few magical elements aside from the vampires, but that’s not a deal breaker for me.
