what are some non-western adult fantasy trilogies or series (completed) that also dont have archaic language?

old English/archaic language is difficult for me to understand most times, and i don’t usually enjoy medieval/viking type fantasy books. some examples of what im looking for is The Poppy War trilogy, or The Broken earth trilogy. Any recommendations?
