Help my find a book:

Hi!! Read a book a few years back in middle school. I remember a few things about it but not that much; Does the following sound familiar.

I remember the main character was a teenage girl ina. dystopian world where everyone lived underground in pods. Like, their families would have a pod. I think she kept scraps of paper and newspaper under her mattress to draw with because creativity was bad or something.

I know that there was a point where she and the male love interest decide to leave their underground pods and go up to earth, but she passes out. Turns out she's allergic to almost everything above ground.

I tried looking it up on my middle school's website. No worries if y'all can't find it, I'm not getting Google results 😭😭
