After reading some Freud, Jung and Butler I realized how much I enjoyed a theoretical approach to understanding things like sexuality, personality and gender. However, I havent really found anything on romantic love?
Some context: I'm pretty sure I am bisexual, but I've found that liking the same gender is completely different and great but also so much more confusing. I understand that romantic love is a social construct, and I want to understand it as such. I want to understand its history, how its evolved, the different types, the different ways of expressing it. I also want to understand the theoretical, why and how romantic love is felt, what it means socially. I probably wont find a book discussing all of those, but I'd like to try and find at least a starting point?
