Hey guys I work with mentally handicapped adults of varying degrees of disability and I'm looking to start a reading time with them. I'm used to doing storytime with littles but the books I use for the littles aren't quite engaging enough for some of the adults in the activity group. I'm more or less looking for books that are engaging and interesting but not too complex. I'll be reading a couple chapters at a time and providing them with a craft or activity sheet to accompany the chapters. I'll have the group for about an hour a week.

How about the first Harry Potter book? That usually appears to a variety of levels
