Books for a 12 yo that loved the Percy Jackson and Nicholas Flammel series.
Help me out here. Mild romance is okay, nothing too much please, and preferably nothing LGBT either ( no prejudice, just from a very different part of the world and think it's too soon ). Thanks!
I loved the Pendragon books when I was their age. 10 books, about a teenage boy who finds out that he has to travel between worlds/dimensions to stop a powerful threat.
Lots of exciting set pieces, many good characters, and very mild romance.
I don’t recall any LGBT themes or even moments, but please understand that I read them in middle school and I can’t recall with 100% clarity.
