I'm reaching out for some book recommendations. I've spent most of my life reading textbooks for science and engineering. While I love learning about those subjects, I'm craving something different now.
I'm looking for books that are engaging and entertaining. Something I can enjoy in my free time and use to spark interesting conversations. I'm open to pretty much any genre, but I'm particularly interested in books that can help me expand my horizons and learn about different cultures, perspectives, or historical events. I am also very curious about contemporary books on technology.
If you've been in a similar boat – going from a world of academic reading to wanting something more casual – I'd love to hear your experiences and recommendations.
