I was laid off and have been spiraling. I’m already in therapy and doing what I can to get my mind right. But I’d love any suggestions for books to read to help me with this. I tend to dislike self help books – the subtle art of not giving a fuck, for example, is not my cup of tea.
I’d love books grounded in scientifically/psychology backed methods:

to overcome depression after losing your career;
- reframing your mindset when your life no longer looks like what you planned;
- struggling with feelings of laziness and wanting to give up;
- and also general corporate career advice, particularly for women.
