Currently I’m in a state in life where I don’t care about anything, I think everything is pointless ( which they probably are)… but I don’t wanna have this mindset. I want to start caring about things. I want to get out of my nihilistic state and have some sort of passion of goals so please recommend me books that might help with that?? Something that convinces me there’s a meaning

Well, what do you like? As in genre or content. Do you have any favorite books (or even tv shows or movies) that could help us make suggestions?
I’d recommend Start Where You Are by Pema Chodron. She’s an American-born Buddhist nun who now lives in Canada. You don’t have to be Buddhist to like the book, btw, but it can help if you want to turn nihilism into something generative.
I recommend an essay by the philosopher Thomas Nagel called “The Absurd.” It explores the notion of hopelessness and why it is not rational. Rather, it is a clash of perspectives between who we believe we should be and who we think we are.
