I read the Enemy series by Charlie Higson as a kid and used to love reading. Trying to pick up reading again but feel too old for that series (I’m in highschool now).
I was looking for a zombie book with vibes similar to the game last of us and the above mentioned series. I like intense, gorey and nerve wrecking but rich and expressive stories with detailed world’s. I don’t mind any adult themes or scenes.

Here are some of my favorite Zombie books: Hissers, The Girl With All The Gifts, Fever House, World War Z, This is the Way the World Ends, The Living Dead by Romero and Krause, and Dead Water.
