Some of my favorites are Rand from Wheel of Time, Kaladin from Stormlight, Dalinar from Stormlight, Darrow from Red Rising. I also wouldn’t mind books where the main character isn’t necessarily a full leader but is viewed as a sign of hope and/or fear the way Vin from Mistborn is. I do prefer fantasy books with strong magic systems but it is not necessary. Ive only been reading for like 6 months so im open to trying new things as well.
