For beginners

I used to love reading books when I was a kid, my mother always bought me books from a series called “Sweet Valley High”, “Sleepover Friends”, “The boxcar children” and stories like those. i recently started reading again, I just finished Angelology, Love Hypothesis, and the first 2 books of The School for Good and Evil, I don’t really have any plans to continue the whole series. I recently DNF A court of thorns and roses because I got spoiled and didn’t really like how the story went after the first book.

Do you guys have any recommendations for books to get me into reading? I don’t mind any genre to be honest as long as there’s no love triangle since I’m not really a fan.
