My brother is 20 years old, and I don't think he's ever read a book in his life. He recently came to me and asked me to suggest a book for him to read. He says if he reads a good book, it could turn him into a reader for life. Please help me come up with suggestions for him.
He plays college lacrosse, he's really into sports, he loves TV shows like Breaking Bad, Prison Break, Shameless. He loves the Hunger Games movies. He loves heist-y stuff like National Treasure.
Thanks everyone!

Start him with the Hunger Games book series by Suzanne Collins since he’s already a fan of the movies.
He really should try audiobooks and headphones on exercise bike! Some people have mastered the art of reading physical books while on treadmill.

Fight Club, by Chuck Palahniuk
Any Christopher Moore book, if he likes humor.
The River by Peter Heller
Jeffrey Archer, Prison Diaries, and his short stories.
Shantaram by Gregory David Roberts
A Fine Balance by Rohinton Mistry
The Word is Murder by Anthony Horowitz
Maybe give Murderbot a listen?
*Red Rising* by Pierce Brown. It’s like the Hunger Games.
Maybe he should try audiobooks.
The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. The books are better than the movies
I think a perfect book for a young new reader is Catcher in the ryeu
Of he likes adventure stuff like national treasure and wants an easy read try Mathew Reilly. Simple, ass kicking, ancient wonders of the world type modern Indiana Jones. Love them
Call of the Wild. Easy reading and a story you can’t put down.
A Deadly Education by Naomi Novik like Hunger Games in a deadly magic school
Foundryside by Robert Jackson Bennett is a really unusual fantasy world with a heist
The Art Thief by Michael Finkel is a nonfiction thriller about a bizarre & intense art thief
