Hi! I’ve always liked to read a lot, but because of academic pressure, i had to stop for a while. However, now that i’m on vac and have a lot of free time, i can’t seem to get myself into any book, just the mere thought of reading doesn’t excite me as much as before, but i’d love to start reading again. (This has never happened to me before, i guess i’m a bit burnout)

I’m not very picky with the genre of the books i read, as long as it catches my attention, i’m able to read just about anything. Any suggestions?

Been there a few times, first with academic pressure, then after having babies. Tana French mysteries have always been able to pull me out of a reader’s slump. And they are always fairly well written. Start with the first book, In The Woods.

Every Heart a Doorway by Seanan McGuire. Plus it’s nice and short
