Hi, I'm 22 F and I just got back into reading. Currently reading The Marriage Portrait by Maggie O'Farrell. I tried reading A Little Life by Hanya Yanagihara and I didn't really like the style of writing, I just couldn't get into it. I would love to hear your recommendations!

Good Material by Dolly Alderton- I just think this is a super real and raw story about relationships, told from a man’s perspective in a straight relationship which you don’t get a lot.
River East, River West by Aubre Lescure- coming of age novel that deals with family relationships, race, love.
The Poppy War by RF Kuang- I’m always reccomending this book bc it’s one of my favorites, and it covers so many deep topics while also being a relatively easy read (IMO). Again, a coming of age story that is set in a fantasy world, an especially great story about good and evil.
