I started listening to the audiobook of this yesterday. I’m 11% through it and I’m not particularly hooked. It seems ok, but I’m not particularly invested in it. It’s quite a long book so I would like to know if it gets better later on? I’m not sure whether it’s worth listening to 19 more hours if it stays like this.
I’m finding the endless talking about Ancient Greece tedious. The characters don’t seem particularly interesting to me and it feels like barely anything has happened.
The book has great reviews and people seem to love it so wondering if it’s just a slow start.
