It’s too hot to walk outdoors at the moment so I’m doing a lot of mall and treadmill walking. Please give me your best audiobook recommendations to stave off the boredom. I don’t mind which genre. Thank you!
Remarkably Bright Creatures by Shelby Van Pelt, it is a light and charming novel. I listened to the audiobook and the narrators, Marin Ireland and Michael Urie are perfect. I only wish there was more of Marcellus. A bit of romance (nothing sexual at all) and a bit of mystery. Who would have thought a story that includes an octopus would be so good. Something on the darker side is John Verdon’s Dave Gurney series (Think of a Number is the first book) is a mystery/thriller. A retired NYC detective gets drawn into the hunt by baffling puzzles and calculating killers. The audio book was narrated by George Newbern and I liked his narration very much.

Andy Serkis has done a great version of all the Tolkien books and they are phenomenal.
