I don’t even know if such a book exists. Recently traveled to multiple countries in Europe and saw beautiful scenery of mountains, lakes, small villages, cottages, castles, etc. That inspired me to make up a story in my mind about a boy who grows up in a rural European country and meets a girl whose family just immigrated there.
That’s all I had in my head but I’m dying to know if such a book exists. Mainly, I’m looking to read about the romantic aspect of growing up in rural Europe as a kid frolicking around in the fields. I’d be happy with any close suggestions, or even a film about this subject!
