My mom loves pop culture and has gotten really into baking/cooking this year. I’m looking for some good cookbooks inspired by a show/movie, or written by a celebrity.

She hates sci-fi and fantasy, so I can’t get her any related to Star Wars, Harry Potter, etc.

    1. food wars has a cook book as its a manga about a culinary high school in japan the anime is just as good as the manga but the manga had recipes in it, to the point that they made a cook book.

    2. If you told everyone what shows, movies or celebrities your mum is interested in, rather than telling us what she *doesn’t* like, it would help us find something.

The Official Downton Abbey cookbook is wonderful; good recipes and a peek behind the scenes.

If she ever read the Mitford books by Jan Karon, it’s cookbook is very sweet and has good Southern food.

The Anne of Green Gables Cookbook by Kate Macdonald is very sweet, written by LM Montgomery’s granddaughter, and the new reprint has lovely photos.

    4. The Tucci Cookbook, Stanley Tucci, Francesco Tonelli
Recipes from the family of acclaimed actor Stanley Tucci, star of the television series, “Stanley Tucci: Searching for Italy”.

Cooking Price-Wise: A Culinary Legacy, by Vincent Price (a classic)
“Best known as a star of stage and screen, Vincent Price was also a noted gourmet whose enthusiastic promotion of home cooking included several cookbooks and a television show, Cooking Price-Wise. This charming book of Price’s favorite recipes is based on the Thames Television series he hosted in the 1970s, which showcased timeless international cuisine.”
