I've heard about Infinite Jest for over a decade but I've never gotten the courage to sit down and read it. Mainly due to it's length and confusing plot. And I've heard so many people talk about how David Foster Wallace was some great visionary and one of the greatest writers ever. So to the people who have read the book, I would really love to hear your thoughts on it.

I enjoyed it, but it does take a long time to get through.
I also had to read a synopsis afterward to understand it, but this didn’t detract from it for me.
I liked the characters, the neologisms, the grand structure of it all. Give it a read it you have a spare month.
