Books you could not put down/made you fall in love with reading again?
During my undergrad, I never had time to read and now I'm slowly building momentum again! Suggest anything you felt you basically finished in one sitting because it was THAT GOOD😀
Shogun is non stop action and surprises. Some of it gets intense if you’re squeamish.

Harry Potter if you haven’t already read them. Couldn’t put those down. Also the shining by Stephen king I finished in basically one sitting

**The Day of the Jackal** is an amazing thriller. True page turner.
**We, The Drowned** is epic, and easily the best book I’ve read this year
**The Troop** if you want some supremely fucked up body horror wrapped in a sleek,
Stephen King-esque page turner.
And I’ll give **Shogun** a second vote.

I had the same thing happen to me as undergrad, though not recently so the books that got me through it are older. Ender’s Game, She’s Come Undone, The Time Traveller’s Wife. But for newer ones, Barbed Wire Heart by Tess Sharpe, Half Sick of Shadows by Laura Sebastian, anything by S.A. Crosby. I also got good at audiobooks after refusing them for years and that helped a ton! Consider ones read by a full cast, like The Themis Files by Sylvain Neuvel or Daisy Jones and the Six. Full cast makes them super compelling for me.
Also, maybe consider some graphic novels like Superman Smashes the Klan. There’s something in being able to start and finish something quickly, plus Yang is one of the best graphic artists ever.
