Hello! I’ve been searching for this book from my childhood for the longest time, however I for the life of me cannot remember the name. It was one of my favourite series when I was in 5th grade (2011ish) and was hoping someone here could help me find it. This is what I remember:
The story followed a prince who I believe was named Leaf. He met a girl in the forest, who I believe is named Iris, who had a weird creature from the forest as a pet. The two (and probably more characters I can’t remember) go around the kingdom, fighting monsters from the forest before Leaf returned to his home to become king.
Trying to find this book has eaten me alive for a few years. It holds so many memories for me of my 5th grade teacher (who was arguably the only good teacher in that school). Any help would be greatly appreciated!
