A book that makes you angry because the characters are making such stupid decisions but has a happy ending.

I want to get a book for my girlfriend who on occasion reads a book where the characters make such poor decisions that lead them to more and more problems. I think she enjoys complaining about how poor these decisions are and how every problem can be solved with a simple conversation. It’s kind of like a ‘happy-frustration’ if that makes sense.
