Books like East of Eden by Steinbeck and/or Between Two Fires by Buehlman?

I love the lyrical like prose and overall biblical allegory/retelling. Any genre is fine, but I really love classic literature, fantasy, or horror. I love dark and fantasy media as well like the the video game series’ Diablo,Final Fantasy,and Dark Souls,the comic The Wicked + The Divine, and anime/manga like Berserk. Will also take any recommendations for anything like an angels/gods vs demons war or anything similar with lovecraftian aspects as well
