I love reading history theme books especially when they are first person pov and of course mystery/thrillers. But I’ve been wanting to open up my reading options so when I find S, I was over the moon! I need to find more books with a similar style/layout/format. I’m not 100% what you would call that kind of book and that might be my issue for finding others. I honestly don’t care too much what the book is about it’s more when you look at the pages and see it’s not your traditional layout.
Books I have found/read so far:
- The Secret History of Twin Peaks by Mark Frost (My 2nd favorite book)
- Twin Peaks: Final Dossier by Mark Frost
- A Wilderness of Error: The Trials of Jeffrey MacDonalds by Errol Morris
- Bats of the Republic: An Illuminated Novel by Zachary Thomas Dodson
- The Appeal by Janice Hallett (All of her books so far)
- House of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielewski (also his Familiar series)
- The Unfortunates by B.S. Johnson
- Illuminae by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff (the illuminae Files series)
I really hope there is more but I absolutely appreciate any suggestions!
