So I am not a romance reader at all
I’ve tried in the past but sometimes the ‘plot’ just isn’t exciting enough for me to enjoy and finish it.
I recently read ‘Birding With Benefits’ by Sarah T. Dubb and the spice in it made me physically uncomfortable
I also found the dialogue cringy which I guess is a given with romance books
So can anyone suggest me a good introduction romance book for someone who doesn’t read them and preferably ones that don’t have spice in it? Thanks

I can recommend the ‘dance of thieves’ series as well as the ‘cruel prince’ series.
Both have no real spice (it’s just hinted at) and the plot is pretty focused on politics.
