Hello! My book group's theme for next month is "Books about Books" – I was thinking about re-reading "The Book Thief" but from what I remember, it is only tangentially about books and pretty heavy (in terms of subject). Any recommendations are welcome – just to add that I've had an exhausting few weeks and the lighter the tone of the book, the better.

what you are looking for is in the library by michiko aoyama is a sweet collection of short stories about people who feel lost in life and find a greater purpose thanks to a librarian. it’s one of my five star reads this year and i compared it to the feeling of my cat curling up on my lap while i’m drinking hot chocolate on a rainy day – just… cozy.
