Desperately looking for fiction (or semi-fiction/creative non fiction (I love Kerouac’s sensationalism and how Smith writes her dreams)) that is written with the beautify, fluidity and metaphor of a poet. I read Didion’s Slouching Towards Bethlehem which was beautiful but I wish it had a conclusive narrative like a fictional book usually would.

I’ve also read Just Kids and M Train by Patti Smith which I adored. As well as Dharma Bums, The Subterraneans and On The Road by Kerouac which I loved for their writing style and poetic elements, but also disliked for their outdated-ness.

Always aiming to read more books written by women and POCs

    Thank you!
