Title, basically.
I'm a fast reader and would like to get into a book series. All the most famous ones like Foundation, Wheel of Time etc are all of the above genres.
I read the Silo books as well recwbekty and I enjoyed getting into a long read but really would rather not do dystopian again.
I fear the only other answer will be romance, and people will tell me to go read Bridget Jones 😭

Sherlock Holmes?
How about horror, the Indian Lake trilogy by Stephen graham jones?
Philip Marlowe detective stories. Start with *The Big Sleep*.
Boxcar children, little house on the Prairie
The long war, historical fiction
I liked the Labyrinth series by Kate Mosse, the Sharpe and Uhtred of Bebbanburg series by Bernard Cornwell, and I highly recommend the Flashman series by Fraser. Deptford Trilogy by Davies was good; the Smiley series by LeCarre. Most good series really aren’t SciFi or Fantasy, I think.
The AGGGTM series (A good Girls Guide To Murder)
Raymond Chandler’s Philip Marlowe books.
Patrick O’Brian’s “Aubrey-Maturin” series.
