Looking for a Novel about someone who lost their entire family (or had to endure multiple tragedies) and they were forced to start over alone?

I know this is super specific but I'm looking for a relatable topic. Extra points if the character has to leave behind everything they've ever known as well.

I'll settle for a poignant book about loss/ devastation/and trying to rebuild.
