I've desperately tried to become a bookgirlie for quite some time now since I sadly no longer have the attention span to watch a movie/series (it's just too much of a commitment). My issue with books tho is that I genuinely cannot find enough books I enjoy, mainly cuz I haven't really found my genre I think. I've already spent so much money on books that I just cannot bring myself to finish, I read some pages and they just don't hit the spot for me.
The last two books I read and really enjoyed are The Love Hypothesis & The Maid so romance and fiction is a given, but also mystery/thriller (nothing too dramatic tho, The Maid was just the right amount of both). So… my question to you guys is; what can you recommend a book-rookie like myself? All suggestions are appreciated.
