I’ve only recently realized this seems to be my favorite genre. I’ve read a lot, so i’ll list those down below, i’m just running low on suggestions at this point. Love to reread but thiiiirsty for something i’ve not read yet.
Enjoying the demon aspect lately, enjoy fae and shifters as well. I’m anti preg trope and RH/why choose.
Also, i do lose interest when the series is never ending. 3 is the sweet spot, even if i love the series i never make it past 4-5 books, i get burned out on it.

The Incryptid series by Seanan McGuire sounds perfect for you. Every few books the main character changes. The first book is Discount Armageddon. It’s one of my favorite urban fantasy series.
Kraken by China Mieville was quite the trip
