Hi, I’m hoping someone could help recommend a book to fill my need for a specific escapism. I’m hoping to find a book where someone leaves their problems behind and runs away, becoming self sufficient. I don’t care if it’s even for selfish reasons.
I’ve been going through a period of not catching a break atm, from repeated deaths in the family to bad health (psychical and mental) and now a break up haha! I have a lot on my plate with responsibilities and as much as I dream of running away to isolation, I refuse to hurt the people I care about by doing that. So. I’m hoping to find that in a book I can live vicariously through.
