I am wanting to get back into reading. I enjoy sci-fi/Horror books (think zombies) and dystopian books
My favorite book of all time is Brave New world and my favorite series is Day Bu Day Armageddon series by J.L. Bourne
I’d like a few recommendations on either post apocalypse/zombie books or dystopian future books

Dungeon Crawler Carl. Aliens come to Earth and put people thru a Running Man type game show. This season is Fantasy themed. There’s a lot of comedic beats but the story is dark. 6 books and counting.
The Vang: The Military Form by Christopher Rowley. The middle (but best) of a loosely-connected trilogy. The alien lifeform was the inspiration for The Flood in the Halo video games. AFAIK it hasn’t been digitized so you’ll have to read a paper edition like some barbarian.
I Am Legend by Richard Matheson. It’s a classic that’s inspired several movies, about the struggles of the last man on earth after a pandemic turns most of humanity into vampire-like creatures.
The Stand by Stephen King. An epic about he aftermath of a deadly pandemic.
Oryx and Crake by Margaret Atwood
He’ll Followed With Us by Andrew Joseph White (YA, but I couldn’t put it down)
