Hi! I'm new in here so probably this suggestion has already been asked, but anyways I'll still try 🙂
I've been searching for books that talk or have certain aspects about mental disorders, ( specifically: depression. )
I'm a really big fan of poetry, philosophy and psychology, and I know big authors of poetry like Sylvia Plath, but I was looking for a book that really impressed or have leave you a mark.
Sorry if this suggestion has been already asked. sorry

Feeling Great by David Burns
A strange pick, but for me my favorite book is 10% Happier by Dan Harris.
The guy’s kinda a jerk. He’s a news reporter who has a bad panic attack on air and knew he had to get his life under control. He’s a skeptic but went looking for mental health help everywhere from religion to science to illegal drugs.
He was skeptical about meditation but eventually landed on that, calculating that a few minutes a day could make him 10% happier and it was an acceptable trade-off.
I just liked the book ***because*** he was a jerk and skeptical and tried so many things.
