Never read much on philosophy before but would love to start! I’ve read a bit on Aristotle but nothing in depth. Not sure what to look for but open to all recommendations!
If you have read Aristotle, maybe give Plato’s dialogues a try. Or Russels history of western philosophy.

You can read philosophy in multiple ways:
1) you can read textbooks or handbooks focussing on topics you care about (eg epistemology, philosophy of love, etc)
2) you can read primary texts, usually they aren’t thematic. So for example, Aristotle will talk about everything, not just epistemology
3) you can read journal articles on topics you enjoy
4) you can read historically important thinkers (more or less in order) vs reading topics you enjoy (including contemporary stuff)
