Any books about the sea, the ocean, the coast. Working on it, adventuring on it, living by it. Particularly interested in memoirs of trying to cross oceans like rowing the Atlantic or sailing round the world. But anything good really.
I’ve got a real thing for the sea at the moment. Not sure why.

- Down to the Sea in Ships – Horatio Clare – life aboard cargo ships.
- Sea Change – Peter Nichols – sailing the Atlantic solo.
- The Salt Path – Raynor Winn – walking the South West Coast Path in the UK
- Dark, Salt, Clear – Lamorna Ash – life in a Cornish fishing village and aboard smaller fishing vessels.
- Under Pressure – Richard Humphreys – life aboard a Royal Navy nuclear submarine.
- The Outlaw Ocean – Ian Urbina – hard to describe but an absolutely brilliant book.
So yeah, please suggest me anything you have read and enjoyed to do with sea. Thanks.
