I love love love Game of Thrones. The intrigue, world building, betrayals, dragons and politics, I love it all. But I can't handle the sexual assault and incest, and as a result I haven't read the books and am not watching House of the Dragon (though I'm roughly staying up to date).
Is anyone able to recommend a book with similar vibes without all the trigger warnings? I love fantasy, and would be more than happy with more fantasy aspects, although I will cope without.
Kindle unlimited preferred but I'm willing to buy if im sold on it!
Side request: any good GoT world fan fics that won't be sending me to my therapist?

Prince of thorns by mark laurence might be up your alley. I hadn’t read it in awhile but I don’t remember sex in it.
The Aurelian Cycle series by Rosaria Munda has dragons and political intrigue. It’s YA (I think it’s exceptionally written YA) so it doesn’t have a lot of the triggering stuff GoT has.
Chronicle of The Unhewn Throne by Brian Staveley. Book 1 is the The Emperor’s Blades.
