A book that feels like scrolling on social media

I’m in a very tired place – maternity leave. Spending all day on social media and I want to be reading more. Currently reading The Secret History and I’m enjoying it , it’s just pretty stressful

Looking for low effort books which are easy to read , a bit of drama, enjoyable, easy to pick up and understand what’s going on. I don’t need the cozy no plot stories , I’d like it to be worth picking up at least.
