I like to read books that match the season/time of year! My TBR list is set with enough summery books to get me through August, but I need to start looking ahead!
What are some books that have that dark, cozy, whimsical, melancholy autumn vibe? My only stipulation is that I’m not the biggest fan of true horror, so I’d prefer minimal gore, violence, body horror. Otherwise, I’m all ears! Thanks in advance!

something wicked this way comes
Garlic and the Witch/ Garlic and the Vampire is a cute graphic novel series that has the same vibes.
How To Recognize A Demon Has Become Your Friend By Linda Addison
Elatsoe by Darcy Little Badger
Coraline
In regards to horror + the big and little sibling trope + autumn, the series Bad Girls Don’t Die was good. It’s YA so it’s not too graphic but a cool spooky ghosty story that doesn’t feel too kiddish
